The ACS IVC rack system, is simply the system of the future because it has all the advantages of an IVC but without the well-known disadvantages such as 24/7 power consumption (not really desirable these days), expensive maintenance, vibrations, ultrasound and more.
It is a very special experience to enter a facility where you smell nothing and hear nothing. This system means much less disturbance to the animals while the ventilation is simply superior to conventional IVC. As a result, “breeding” goes very well in these cages. We even have an application where you hardly have to disturb litters with puppies.

The Optimice® IVC rack system features an exceptionally small footprint and the highest density housing, the highest in the industry. Animals are fully protected in our cages, and odors and allergens are contained.
Our unique carousel design is based on our patented direct exhaust ventilation technology, free from motors, noise, and vibration. This original technology creates a low-stress, non-variable environment, ideal for housing and breeding laboratory mice and delicate strains.

The SMART System is an IVC rack system that offers 10 heated mouse cage stations with heated comfort under a portion of the cage floor.

The mice thermoneutral zone is between 26 and 34 degrees Celsius; however typical housing rooms are kept between 21 and 26 °C. Cold-stressed mice in any rodent cage develop dramatic changes in physiology, behavior, and immune function and skew experimental results. Robust mice cope by using nesting material, but many mice benefit from having thermal support. Utilize secondary technology using USB ports with each unit.

Optirat® GenII Laboratory Rodent Cages have internal water bottles that can be mounted at three different levels to accommodate laboratory rodents of various sizes. A variety of accessories are available to accommodate various experiments and increase animal welfare.

Unique IVC Rack

Optirat® Plus Laboratory Rodent Cages are among the tallest in the industry and allow rats to perform natural behaviors and postures. The optional mezzanine shelf increases cage capacity and adds cage complexity. The feeder can be mounted at the front or the side for increased visibility. A variety of accessories are available to accommodate various experiments and increase animal welfare. External water bottles or auto-water options are available.
